On October 18, 2025, the 2025 2nd International Conference on Computer Vision, Image Processing and Computational Photography (CVIP 2025) was successfully held in Hangzhou! The conference was hosted byZhejiang University of Technology. It received collaborative support from multiple institutions including Zhejiang University of Technology, Jiangnan University, and Dalian University of Technology, with comprehensive technical services provided by AiScholar. The event brought together over a hundred renowned experts and scholars in the fields of computer vision, image processing, and computational photography. Participants engaged in in-depth discussions on the latest research trends and technological advancements in related areas, effectively promoting deep integration and collaborative development between academia and industry.

The opening ceremony of the conference officially commenced at 9:00 AM on October 18. Presided over by Prof.Yun Zhang, Council Member of the Hangzhou Computer Society and Vice Dean of the School of Media Engineering atCommunication University of Zhejiang, the ceremony extended a warm welcome to the attending experts and scholars on behalf of the congress and declared the conference officially open!

Prof. Dingguo Yu, Dean of the School of Media Engineering atCommunication University of Zhejiang and Director of the Provincial Key Laboratory of Film and Media Technology Research, delivered the opening speech, extending sincere greetings on behalf of the organizers to all participants, both online and offline. He emphasized that the conference holds significant practical importance in promoting academic exchanges among relevant disciplines and researchers worldwide, disseminating cutting-edge technological advancements and achievements, and driving scientific and technological innovation as well as integrated development. The Keynote Presentation Session
We are honored to have invited four distinguished experts to deliver keynote speeches at this conference: Professor Xin Lv, Dean of the Digital Human Research Institute at Communication University of China; Associate ProfFanglüe Zhang, an outstanding young scholar from Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand; Prof Xi Li, a recipient of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars of China and a Fellow of the American Academy of Artificial Intelligence, from Zhejiang University; and Prof. Shitong Wang from Jiangnan University. Assoc. Prof. Gina Ye, Communication University of Zhejiang, China
After the keynote report, the sub-session was presided over by Associate Professor Gina Ye, specially appointed Deputy Director of the Office of Science and Technology atCommunication University of Zhejiang. Eleven scholars from Victoria University of Wellington (New Zealand), China University of Geosciences (Wuhan), China University of Mining and Technology, Shanghai Maritime University, Shaanxi University of Science and Technology, Harbin University of Science and Technology, Changchun University of Science and Technology, and Zhejiang University of Media Communications delivered oral presentations of their submitted papers. Centering on the conference theme, they engaged in academic sharing and exchange. The participants actively contributed to the discussions, creating a lively atmosphere and fostering academic communication in related fields.




To encourage the growth of young scholars and promote the emergence of outstanding research achievements, the committee presented a series of awards during the conference, including the Best Paper Award, Best Oral Presentation Award, Best Poster Award, and Outstanding Paper Nominations. These accolades recognized individuals and teams who demonstrated exceptional performance in the fields of computer vision, image processing, and computational photography. The award ceremony was held in an enthusiastic atmosphere, effectively fostering a virtuous cycle of talent development and academic advancement.
